Excitement is high as we are just 24 hours from leaving Denver International Airport.. is there a song here? I'm leaving on an jet plane…or Denver International Airport.. can you sing the tunes. It is an ARTS Tour after all.
If you weren't at the meeting we had last Sunday, This is our tour director: Riccardo Chiaretti. He looks like a lot of fun. He will be with us the whole trip taking care of all the details, we just follow along. We will also have a bus driver who will be with us most of the way.
On this tour there will be 3 other groups, usually they are also groups of high school students much like ours. If you go to the EF website you can read the code of conduct they have, its much like what Campion has. They are from Texas, Missouri and Massachusetts.
The weather in Italy will be much like here at the start getting warmer. Milan-40 rain/snow, Verona-40 rain/snow , Florence- 47 sunny, Rome 60 sunny. Bring your rain coat and layers.

Remember we are 8 hours later- 8am in Loveland is 4pm in Italy..more importantly- 8pm in Loveland is 4am in Italy, don't call me at 4 am.

In just 24 hours we will be on a plane heading toward Philadelphia, PA to catch our overnight flight to Europe! The kids and I are all so excited, we can hardly sit still today. Yes, my bag is packed and ready, as per instructions to the group. What a relief to know I don't have to stay up tonight to pack!! We'll keep you posted on our progress and will take lots and lots of photos of our adventure. Arreviderci!
